Phoenix Nordic (aka; Phoenix Cross Country Ski Society) was founded in the 1970s by a group of passionate Nordic ski enthusiasts. Located between Grand Forks and Greenwood, the trail system offers 15 km of groomed trails for skiers of all skill levels. Check us out on Facebook.
Membership
We encourage skiers to become members to support the activities of our society. We encourage snowshoers to use our trail system and ask that they also buy memberships which help pay for the grooming that you enjoy when you use the trails.

Located between Grand Forks and Greenwood BC, we manage the Marshall Lake Cross Country Trail System in partnership with Recreation Sites and Trails BC, near the historic townsite of Phoenix, BC.

Land acknowledgement
We acknowledge that we live, work, and recreate on the traditional territories of the Sinixt, Syilx, Métis, and Ktunaxa peoples, also known as the Grand Forks and Boundary area. As a cross-country ski club, we recognize that the trails we use have been cared for by First Nations communities for generations, and we are grateful for the ongoing support of the Osoyoos Indian Band.
We take seriously our responsibility to care for the land, aiming to preserve it in ways that reflect respect, sustainability, and reciprocity.
Our goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone, and we are committed to learning from Indigenous communities and growing as an organization to ensure we are responsible stewards of the land.
